It is a long tradition university with Administrative and Economic Faculties of Sciences, Legal Sciences, Social and Political Sciences, Rural and Environmental Studies in two headquarters in Bogotá and Cali. The Unit of Solidarity based Studies counts on a staff of professors and investigators with dedication to the matter. Develop two fundamental lines of work: trainningand investigation. Relating to formation, they offer a Diploma in Management and Cooperative Management of 30 credits. As for as investigation, they develop some basic lines : styles of management, success and innovation in the management, local development and cooperation, strategic planning and leadership, supervision and control. It is a center with recognition in social balance. These lines have been summarized in investigations on success and innovation in the management, cooperative and cooperative conceptual development, as well as in a good number of books and articles of magazines. In the field of the international relations belongs to the University Network of the Americas in Cooperative and Associationism Studies.
